Could some explain all terms used on here to me? Like what does PoD mean?

POD - Point of Divergence, where two timelines stop being identical.
OTL - Orginal TimeLine, what happened in real life and what the timeline is based
off of.
ATL - Alternate TimeLine, whats happening in the authors divergent timeline, not
real life.
ASB - Alien Space Bats, basically anything in a timeline that is not realistic like
people just growing wings, Kerry being elected president, France wins a
war by itself, those type of things.
There are a few more but those are the big ones and should be good enough to get you started there.

ISOT: If Sealion Obviously Triumphs. It refers to the clear-cut impending success of Operation Sealion....None of us can understand why they didn't actually carry out such a simple operation and conquer Britain.

I always did wonder where did the term "alien space bats" came from? For a lot of these, we know what they are, we know what they mean, but we don't know where they came from.
