February 4 2004: While lurking at AlternateHistory.com, I briefly consider signing on as a member. I decide against it, though.

What, if anything, happens differently here?

I should also point out the now inevitable collapse of human civilization because of the collapse of my life (which I am destined to "re-create" in the not so distant future).
