On behalf of the Wiki Task Force, I am announcing the 2008 Wiki Proofreading and Updating Contest. The purpose of this contest is to improve the quality of the Wiki by encouraging users to correct typos, misspellings, and grammatical errors as well as updating pages that have lain dormant for sometime. And yes, there will be prizes, provided by myself (most likely Amazon gift certifications or some such).
The contest will run from now until the end of November. I will do the scoring. I know that "proofreading and updating" covers a wide area, so priority scoring will be given on those pages that have not been updated for a long time (but are still relevant), as well as work done on the timeline and story indexes.
To be counted in the scoring you must post a link to the page you edited in this thread.
