Er, Hello...
I've always been interested in Alternate History as spin-off from Science Fiction. Also, as hailing from UK, I've oft wondered what would have happened if sundry options hadn't been rudely flushed away by inopportune political choices: Barnes Wallis' later designs, tilting trains, the TSR2, the Transputer & Occam being just a few. I still wonder how Concorde and those Channel Hovercraft slipped through...
And, as a member of British Interplanetary Society, I've sometimes wondered what history's verdict will be on our generation's stymied ambitions...
Happens I was assembling the back-stories on a couple of home-brewed alternates where POD is tectonic, googled into your threads...
