so what if groups like the russian mafia, italian mafia and japanese Yakuza formed into a single criminal organization, lets assume the asbs make it that they all can coperate and work with each other.

I'd think they'd probably actually be easier to take down, because they would become a Level A threat to international security and thus have not only Interpol breathing down their necks, but the international intelligence community in general.

Just wait until the FSB and CIA and the Chinese intelligence authorities and MI-6 start cooperating on this criminal supercombine. The crooks might be able to avoid/deal with cops, but if they get big and dangerous enough to involve the interational intelligence community or possibly military forces ... yeah.

This could lead to an true international response against the criminals. Such a large organization can't be ignored.

As they are all three very different organizations, I wonder what the result would look like. If the Yakuza is suddenly more mafia-like, the Japanese government would probably crack down on them, as they are now a danger.

Your all joking. A mob like that can own half the world. Mobsters are rich, they're going to have almost all the money.

At the first meeting.

Ok now as the first point on the agenda.
Lets see, oh yea.

The head of Yakuza won the naming contest!
So tell which name will we use to inspire fear into our enemies?

Team rocket!

I can't say about the rest of the world, but in the United States mobsters and gangsters wouldn't be able to stand up to a military if for no other reason then most of them can't hit the broadside of a barn with less than a dozen shots. (i.e. those dumbasses holding their gun sideways when they fire). The gangsters of the 1920's and 30's could use their weapons as accurately as anyone in the military (and in a number of cases, they had served in World War One) and practiced quite often.

Well we could see something like GDI and NOD setting up on both sidese and fighting it out for global supremacy.

Well to be honest I see it less as GDI and NOD and more of...

A unified mob would be a central planned organisation with all problems that brings. So I dubt they would do better then the different groups trading as they do now.

A centralsied mob is easy to take down. See how badly the Cosa Nostra fared compared to the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta. Also, mobsters dont actually own or make that much money - compare it to an average international corporation, and its peanuts.
