What if the second world war where fought with stone age tech? The civilian society are the same, only the military changes. And there is no way to reinvent stuff.

America would be safe. Britain would seem pretty safe, since their sticks are probably radar-enhanced :p
The Soviet Union would issue one stick to every two men (The other gets an extra rock), Germany would end up giving children sticks by the end of the war (which would prolong it, due to the experts of stick-fighting are children.
Then again, Germany would use the rockets it had, make a civillian program to get to the moon, and slowly drop large pieces onto the Soviet Union, America, Britain, France, etc...
:o We'd all be space-dust

So everybody gets a mind-block against using more than Stone Age technology to fight the enemy?

I really want to sea millions of soldiers duking it out with each other with sticks. Unless they are very sharp or big sticks it will take a long time to kill somebody. Stones on the other hand will be excellent artillery:D

Will Navies be affected? If so, I doubt Japan could even invade China =P

The Ardennes becomes the primary battlefield due to its over abundance of sticks.
Japan more activly pursues advances into jungle areas to aquire the key resource its military needs- tropical hard wood.

Swim?
When I say I doubt they could invade, I meant that China could easily have a "stick and rock per person" policy.

The Stone Age had more then sticks and stones, they made spears, knives ect of wood and stone . So it might be like Zulu warfare under Shaka.
