I'd hate to be some of those warriors in armor and carrying swords going up against automatic rifles...

I can't look at the trailers right now, but the Wikipedia page makes it sound awesome. I wouldn't call it a Guns of the South-type of video game, though. It sounds more like an ultra-violent version of Time Squad.

If you look at the trailers, the similarity is (at least imo) closer to the Guns of the South.

Lol, I remember that show. Brings back memories.

You can save key persons to the timeline by shooting them in the arm or leg, thus removing them from the battle. Fun...

Ironically, that was the basic theme of the film adaptation of A Sound of Thunder.

This might be another Damnation in the making, but it does look pretty silly. Oh, if only there was a single Confederate soldier who complains that the player is a cheating bastard...

That reminds me...whatever happened to that Japanese (?) time-hopping MMO that had all that weird Jack Aubrey-meets-Flash Gordon concept art?

Well Sound of thunder had a little bit of a defense there considering they said they were suppose to kill only stuff that were suppose to die that day, even thought its still very screwy they tried to have some defense!

Now it seem send a guy to kill tons of random people that happen to be there is a perfectly reasonable option
